   Nigerian superstar singer,   Davido has called out   an international show promoter, Molo, for claiming she doesn't know who he is.  The singer first called out the show promoter for "shaming" a male social media user who was in her inbox.  Responding to the Davido's comment, Molo claimed she was only joking and also added that she doesn't know who the singer is. Warning the Nigerian superstar not to ever talk to her again, she further said that she won't be gaining anything from their conversation.    Davido who laughed off her claim of not knowing who he is, also said that she can't book him because she doesn't know anyone with a billion dollars in cash. 

MUSIC PIONEER JAMAL EDWARDS PASSED AWAY AT 31

    Music pioneer Jamal Edwards MBE, who is credited with launching the careers of a number of music artists including Ed Sheeran, has died at the age of 31.   The entrepreneur was the founder of the online urban music platform SB.TV and the son of Loose Women star Brenda Edwards. His pioneering work in the music industry led him to become friends with several celebs - including Ed Sheeran, Will.i.am, and Rio Ferdinand. Jamal Edwards' mum's TV co-star Denise Welch wrote: "My heart aches for my friend Brenda. I can’t bear it. Jamal Edwards was a wonderful son and brother."   A fan added: "A pioneer in taking Black British music and culture digital via SBTV. MENDY: 2021 BALLON D’OR 30 MAN LIST EXCLUSION WAS A SNUB

    Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy has said he 'didn't understand' why he did not make the top 30 in last year's Ballon d'Or. The Senegal keeper was one of the standout players in the world after he helped Chelsea win the Champions League, keeping a clean sheet in the Blues' 1-0 win over Manchester City in the final Since joining the London side in September 2020, he has kept 25 clean sheets in his 52 league appearances. AMINU KANO TEACHING HOSPITAL PERFORM A SUCCESSFUL HISTORICAL COCHLEAR SURGERY

   Otorhinolaryngology Department of (Ear, Nose and Throat) of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital performed a second successful cochlear surgery on Saturday. A statement signed by Deputy Director, Publicity and Communications of the hospital, Mrs. Hauwa Abdullahi, disclosed this on Sunday. It said that the second cochlear implant surgery was performed in the hospital, in collaboration with Medical Professors from the University of Jordan, Prof. Firas Alzoubi and Prof. Simeon Afolabi. According to the statement, “The department lead the surgery team in Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital on Saturday and it was a success.” It said the Head of the ENT Department, Prof. Samuel Kolo, stressed that a cochlear implant is a specialised surgery conducted by an ENT specialist to restore the hearing of severely impaired individuals. PREGNANT WOMAN WITH ABOUT 9 OTHERS DIED IN A KWARA MOTOR CRASH

About 9 people including a pregnant woman reportedly died in a multiple accident which occurred on Ilorin/Ogbomoso road on Sunday morning. The accident which involved a commercial Toyota Hiace bus and a private Toyota car happened at about 8am opposite the Ilorin International Airport Authority in Kwara state. The PUNCH  correspondent gathered that one of the vehicles involved in the crash was said to have carried petrol-filled kegs. Official information from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said that the accident involved a Toyota bus with registration number AFN 06 YL and a private light ash Toyota Corolla car with number LRN 787 FE. The cause of the accident according to the FRSC was attributed to over speeding and non adherent to road safety rules.   The Coalition of Concerned Northern Forum has handed down a 72-hour ultimatum to the Federal Government within which to sack all the management staff of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation over the lingering fuel scarcity across the country.   The group handed down their four-point demands in a statement jointly signed by the chairman, Ibrahim Bature, and the Spokesperson, Abdulsalam Kazeem, in Kaduna on Sunday. They also demanded that the Group Managing Director or the NNPC, Mele Kyar,i and the Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Farouk Ahmed, resign with immediate effect. The group warned that failure for the government to meet their demands, would force them into mass action.
